Camelot Days 2025: Medieval Festival in Hollywood, Florida

As a Miami portrait photographer, I’m always drawn to people who fully step into a character even though it’s scorching hot outside sometimes. Knights, nobles, pirates, and performers filled the festival, and every costume told a story. I spent the day photographing vendors, guests, and performers, capturing candid moments and expressive portraits in the middle of all the medieval chaos.

I was in South Florida only for a short time, but missing Camelot Days in Hollywood, FL was never an option. Medieval festivals, cosplay, and handmade costumes are a huge source of inspiration for my work, and this one delivered on every level.

Cosplay culture inspires me because it allows people to be bold, creative, and unapologetically themselves — which is exactly what I look for in portrait photography.
